【Abstract】 Purslane has the effects of heat-clearing and detoxicating, nourishing qi to moisten bowel, eliminating stasis to sudue swelling and stopping dysentery. In modern medicine, it is considered as having the effects of lowering blood sugar level, antiinflammation, antibiosis, adjusting blood-fat, antiartherosclerosis, and antioxidation.
