【Abstract】 Quantitative analysis of global protein levels, termed ‘quantitative proteomics’, is important for the system-based understanding of the molecular function of each protein component and is expected to provide insights into molecular mechanisms of various biological processes and systems. Recently the mass spectrometry based quantitative strategies in proteomics research are developing rapidly. 18O labeling quantitative method is one of the relatively practical and feasible methods, which has been widely used in recent years.
