【Abstract】 Center on breeding objectives,the canonical selection index of Landrace pigs is estimated by combination of canonical analytical and path analytical method.The total heredity progress CGS_V（xi） of trait x_i for canonical objective trait（V） can be differentiated in parts : direct contribution C_i of trait x_i and indirect contribution r_pij C_j of trait x_i via trait x_j.It can help in the understanding of weight and function of each trait in canonical selection index.更多还原
