【Abstract】 Aim To discuss and study of Yansu and Da Vinci′s scientific and artistic achievement.The difference in their temperaments reflects the difference of the thought of the ancient Oriental and Western scientists.Methods Historical review and comparative analysis.Results Through the comparision,it can be seen: Yansu is a scientist,artist and poet.He shows scholar′s quality in ancient China,and Vinci tries to make all things helpful to science and bring them into painting.It shows that the Oriental art is combined closely with science.Vinci′s bounds of research are very broad while Yansu′s main researches are chronometer and machine.But it shows the difference of some problems which Oriental and western scientists′concern.Conclusion The two Oriental and western scientists who have approximate characteristics: Yansu is more like a technologist while Vinci is more like a philosopher.This differences in temperament reflect the differences of the thought of the ancient Oriental and western scientists.更多还原
