【Abstract】 In drafting the law on Rights in rem, China should take as reference the most advanced legislative experiences abroad, which shall be most suited to the conditions of the country. In this process, the UK law on property and legislative experience from Russia can provide us with much useful food. The Draft Law on Right of Things now under discussions in China still has much to improve, both in terms of its content and legislative techniques.
