【Abstract】 With the fast development of computer and communication technology,the information resources of internet,as the important organization content have been greatly increasing.It is the occurrence of DC and its acceptance to many advantages of internet that makes it developed fast.MARC,which has been appointed for years and well-received in library,whether will be replaced by DC in future? This becomes a important problem.For resolving this problem,this paper describes the creation,development,characteristics and contents of MARC and DC metadata,makes the comparison and analysis between them and gets a conclusion that MARC and DC will coexist over a long period of time.更多还原
