高斯脉冲在单模光纤中的传输特性分析
Study on Transmission Characteristics of Gaussian Pulse in Single-mode Fibers
【摘要】 通过对非线性薛定谔方程(NLS)进行研究,得出高斯脉冲在单模光纤信道传输过程中由于群速色散(GVD)、三阶色散(TOD)和自相位调制(SPM)效应对脉冲传输的影响而产生的脉冲展宽,并做出高斯脉冲在不同因素影响下的传输变化曲线。通过曲线可得:在考虑以上因素前提下,脉冲会出现脉宽展宽、脉幅下降、脉冲畸变和振荡拖尾等现象。论文结果对于研究光纤通信系统信道对误码率影响具有一定意义。
【Abstract】 Transmission characteristics of Gaussian pulses in single-mode fibers were analyzed through studying NLS equation,the influence of GVD, TOD and SPM on pulse-width expansion were investigated and corresponding curves were given.The results indicated that under the premise of considering factors above,the shape of pulse generates expansion,amplitude decline,shape distortion and oscillatory trailing.The results presented in this paper is of value in studying the influence of optical channel on system BER.
