石油沥青基球形活性炭孔结构和吸附性能的研究
STUDY ON PORE STRUCTURE AND ADSORPTION PROPERTIES OF PITCH-BASED SPHERICAL ACTIVATED CARBON
【摘要】 采用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)对实验室自制的石油沥青基球形活性炭(PSAC)的形貌进行了观察,通过BET测定对PSAC的孔结构进行了表征,并探讨了PSAC孔的形成机理。结果表明,活化过程炭粒内表面微晶晶格缺陷上的氧化反应与烧失过程是孔形成的主要机理。同时以苯和四氯化碳为吸附质研究了PSAC静态吸附性能,并与普通粒状活性炭进行对比,研究了球形活性炭的二次吸、脱附性能。实验结果表明,PSAC的吸、脱附速度较快、再生性能优异,是一种高性能的炭质吸附材料。
【Abstract】 Morphology and pore structure of petroleum pitch-based spherical activated carbon(PSAC)were studied respectively by SEM and BET.The pore forming process of PSAC was discussed in the present paper,and it was concluded that the pore forming process is mainly the action of activation agent to develop and deepen the pore that already existed in carbon articles.Meanwhile,the adsorption of PSAC was also investigated by means of static adsorption method with benzene and carbon tetrachloride.The results showed that PSAC has a reasonable adsorption and desorption capacity and proved it to be an excellent carbonaceous adsorptive carbon material through comparing its recycle adsorption capacity with that of general commercial granular activated carbon.
