【Abstract】 Changes in competition and development condition promote each city to achieve or maintain a main node or hub among world city networks by modifying its own characteristics.So city characteristic evaluation is very important.Based on the concepts of energy,potential energy and energy flow,some key factors concerning characteristic resources conversions are analyzed in this paper.An evaluation indicator system composed of eight first-class and 22 secondclass indicators is constructed on the basis of the analysis.According to the evaluation criteria and indictors characteristics,principal component analysis is adopted here to build an evaluation model.Finally,the paper presents a case study of Ningbo city which shows that Ningbo city is characterized by its ports.更多还原
