基于实时自适应控制的大动态范围CIS(英文)
High Dynamic Range CIS Based on Adaptive Real Time Controlling
【摘要】 多次采样组合是扩大CIS动态范围的有效方法,但实时实现尚未达到使用的程度.针对实时在片控制提出一种多次采样组合的VLSI实现方法.通过获取加权像素光强平均值以及饱和像素数目和严重欠曝光像素的数目来确定CIS的采样方式.采样多帧组合模式时,实时对曝光次数和曝光时间点进行调度,依据积分时间将多次采样组合为大动态范围的输出图像.使用FPGA平台对该方法进行模拟,模拟结果证明了该方法的有效性和实时性,能够显著扩展CIS的动态范围.
【Abstract】 Multi-capture composition is a valid method on extending the dynamic range of CMOS image sensor(CIS),but implementation in real time is far from satisfaction.In this paper,a multi-capture composition based on real time image is analyzed and a practical solution is proposed.Based on illumination average,numbers of saturated pixels and severe under- exposed pixels acquired along with image capture,the scene illumination condition are evaluated and the CIS capture mode is determined.In multi-capture mode,the number of captures and integrating time for each capture are determined in real time,according to the illumination condition.The captures are composed to generate the result with high dynamic range. This method is used in CIS design and simulated with FPGA test platform.The simulated result indicates this method can extend the dynamic range effectively.
