【Abstract】 The Wall by Sartre has been seen as a realistic work,reflecting the war of the Spanish National Revolution,so that the hero of the work Ibbieta was considered to be a ’revolutionary soldier’.This paper maintains that The Wall is not a purely realistic storg while Ibbieta is not a revolutionary soldier in the usual sense.The Wall,teeming with copious philosophical wisdom,gives a graphic display of Sartre’s Existentialist philosophy.This storg is closely related with Sartre’s Existentialism in its particular descriptions,plot arrangement,characterization and thematic imagery.更多还原
