微胶囊红磷和酚醛环氧树脂对高抗冲聚苯乙烯阻燃性能的影响

【摘要】 采用锥形量热仪、极限氧指数(LO I)和UL94垂直燃烧测试方法研究了微胶囊红磷(MRP)和酚醛环氧树脂(NR)对高抗冲聚苯乙烯(H IPS)阻燃性能的影响。各种测试结果表明,NR和MRP对H IPS的阻燃具有协同效应。MRP可有效降低H IPS燃烧时的热释放速率(HRR)和热释放总量(THR),但由于MRP部分挥发到气相中,使得烟释放总量(TSR)有所增加;而NR可以抑制可燃产物的挥发,有效降低材料燃烧时的TSR,但THR却有所增加。同时添加MRP和NR与两者分别添加时相比,H IPS的HRR和THR显著降低;与纯H IPS相比TSR也有所降低;H IPS的LO I达到28.8%;UL94垂直燃烧级别达到V-0级。

【Abstract】 Effects of novolac resin(NR)and micro-capsulated red phosphorus(MRP)on inflaming retarding property of high impact polystyrene(HIPS)were investigated by means of cone calorimeter,limiting oxygen index(LOI)and UL94 vertical combustion test.NR and MRP had synergistic effect on inflaming retarding property of HIPS.When MRP was individually added,heat release rate(HRR)and total heat release(THR)of the material evidently decreased comparing with sole HIPS because of effective absorbance of free radical,but total smoke release(TSR)increased because MRP partly volatilized into gas phase.When NR was individually added,HRR and TSR greatly decreased because of char formation of NR,but THR increased because NR was also flammable and emitted heat.To material added with both MRP and NR,HRR and THR were obviously lower than other materials,and TSR also greatly decreased comparing with sole HIPS.LOI value stood at 28.8 and UL94 at V-0 with material added with both MRP and NR.
