基于公平性的DiffServ服务质量模型的研究

【摘要】 随着多媒体业务在Internet上的广泛应用,响应流和非响应流间带宽享用的公平性问题,严重影响了网络的性能.为此提出了一种基于公平的DiffServ流控制机制,以解决在资源共享环境中,各共享者之间的公平性问题.具体到DiffServ,指同一聚集流内各微流共享资源.DiffServ流控制机制是通过在DiffServ模型中添加特定的队列管理算法SCALE-WFS,在区分服务模型的基础之上,提出一种既可以保证各个微流之间的公平性问题并且不会占用系统的太多的资源的新模型,在一定程度上解决了DiffServ域流间的公平性问题.

【Abstract】 With the comprehensive application of multimedia in Internet,there is unfair competition for network resources among responsive flows and unresponsive ones,which seriously reduce the performance of network.In this paper,we present a fairness-based DiffServ flow-control mechanism aiming at resolving fairness issue among different users in the environment of sharing resources.For DiffServ,the fairness means that every micro-flow in the same aggregated flow can share the resources fairly.DiffServ-flow(control) mechanism is a new model that adds a specialized queue management algorithm SCALE-WFS in DiffServ model,and can ensure not only fairness issue among different micro-flows but also not(occupy) much more resources of the system.In this way,fairness issue among DiffServ domain-flows can be(resolved) to some extent.
