【Abstract】 Currently many computer applications such as IP multicast,quality of network service demand that routers and ISP provide strong support and assistance for them.However it is difficult to satisfy these conditions in practice,and then a new network architecture-Overlay Network gradually becomes spotlight of research. This paper has discussed Overlay Network architecture,composition,characteristics,configuration and deployment.The applications of Overlay Network on multicast and QoS are also discussed in the paper.更多还原
