【Abstract】 Although the distrib ution of Rickett’s big-footed bat (Myotis ricketti Thoma s,1894) had been widely reported from Heilongjiang to Hong Kong, no distribution in Hainan Island is reported. The authors collected 27 specimens of Rickett’s big-footed bat from Mt. Diaoluoshan and Huoshankou of Hainan I s land in 2004, showing that Rickett’s big-footed bat is widely distribute d from Heilongjiang to Hainan Island, ranging from the northernmost to the south ernmost parts in Chin a. The measurements of specimens are less than those of the specimen collected from the mainland of China, and the authors consider it may be necessary to st udy subspe cies differentiation of the Hainan Island population.更多还原
