可膨胀石墨阻燃聚丙烯的结构与阻燃性能
Structure and Flame Retardance of Expandable Graphite Filled PP
【摘要】 对采用不同加工方法获得的膨胀石墨(EG)填充聚丙烯(PP)体系的阻燃性能和微观结构进行研究,讨论了EG含量和粒子结构对PP的氧指数和水平燃烧的影响。结果表明:EG/PP体系的阻燃性能不仅随着EG含量的增加而提高,同时还受到EG粒子结构的影响。加工过程中的强剪切作用会破坏石墨粒子结构的完整性,使其阻燃效果大大降低。因此,对EG/PP体系的燃烧性能的影响而言,压制成型的方法明显优于注射成型。
【Abstract】 Expandable graphite (EG) filled PP was prepared by injection and compression respectively. The flame retardance and microstructure of the modified PP were studied, and the effects of the content and morphological structure of EG on the LOI and horizontal burning of PP were discussed. The results showed that the flame retardance of EG/PP composites was improved with the increase of the content of EG, and was effected by the morphology of EG particle. It was found that the composites were strongly affected by the integrity of the structure of EG which could be easily damaged by the shear stress during the processing, which meant the flame retardance of the EG/PP composite by compression would much better than that of the composite by injection.
