【Abstract】 H.264 video coding standard adopts new encoding schemes.The compression efficiency of H.264 encoder is improved by more than 50 % than the previous standard.At the same time,these schemes incur a considerable increase in encoder complexity and encoding time.A multi-directional cross motion estimation search algorithm is described.The search speed of motion estimation is im-proved notably;the complexity of encoder is reduced and encoding time is saved with minimal loss in video quality.更多还原
