【摘要】 目的探讨翻译启动因子4E(eIF4E)蛋白在喉癌手术病理检查切缘中的表达及意义。方法选择1987年10月至1998年10月因喉癌行手术切缘苏木精伊红(HE)染色为阴性的患者46例,采用免疫组织化学方法检测切缘与原发灶中的eIF4E蛋白表达,比较阳性与阴性表达患者的生存率。结果喉癌手术切缘和原发灶中eIF4E表达阳性率分别为32.6%(15/46例)和100.0%(46/46例)。eIF4E切缘阳性组的肿痛复发、转移或死亡的发生率(73.3%,11/15例)明显高于阴性组(29.0%,9/31例,P=0.007)。采用寿命表法统计切缘阳性组和阴性组的5年生存率分别为42.2%和76.5%,差异有显著性(P=0.0006)。结论喉癌手术病理检查切缘阴性而eIF4E蛋白表达阳性者的预后较差。更多还原

【Abstract】 Objective To appraise the expression of eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E(eIF4E) in marginal surgical specimen of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and its significance. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of eIF4E protein in pathologically negative marginal specimen and primary lesion of cancer in 46 patients; and 5-year survival rate of these patients was analyzed retrospectively. Results The positive expression rates of eIF4E protein in the surgical margin and primary site of cancer were 32.6%(15/46) and 100.0% (46/46) respectively. As for the control group, the eIF4E protein expression was not found. The local recurrence rate was 73.3% for patients with eIF4E-positive margin and 29.0% for patients with eIF4E-negative margin (P0.007). The 5-year survival rate of patients with eIF4E-positive margin was lower than those with eIF4E-negative margin (42.23% vs 76.53%, P0.0006). Conclusions The prognosis of patients with positive expression of eIF4E-protein in the pathologically negative surgical margin may be worser than those with negative expression of eIF4E-protein.更多还原
