【Abstract】 Thermal spraying is a new technology to strengthen surface of material and maintain size of works. It is widely used in maintenance and repair parts and manufacturing, especially in power plant. This paper simply introduce practice theory and application of thermal spraying, and then summarize the application in power plant key components, such as boiler pipe, fan, steam turbine, thermocouple sheath and so on. Thermal spraying should be promoted and developed powerfully, because it has huge use-value and extensive market prospect.
