【Abstract】 The tropical fruit production and trade between China and ASEAN countries were discussed, and the complementarity and competiveness of tropical fruit industry between China and ASEAN countries were analyzed under the frame work of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (FTA). The analysis demonstrated that the establishment of the FTA will bring about important impact to the trade of tropical fruit products and the development of their industries between both sides.
