二维裂纹传播问题的数值模拟
Two-dimensional numerical simulation of crack propagation
【摘要】 用数值方法研究了二维裂纹传播问题。经典的连续模型对裂纹传播描述不够精确,而原子模型可以弥补这个缺点,但是完全使用原子模型计算量太大。在裂纹附近使用原子模型,而在远离裂纹的地方使用连续模型,在交界面上,以吸收高频波的条件作为出发点,建立匹配条件求解。这种匹配方法把计算复杂度从O(N2)降低到O(N),而得到的数值解与完全用原子模型得到的解吻合得很好。
【Abstract】 This paper studies two-dimentinal crack propagation. Continuum models become inaccurate when describing micro scale crack propagation. Atomistic models, which are more accurate near the crack tip, were combined with a continuum model far from the tip to reduce the computations. A matching condition (such that the high-frequency waves are absorbed) was used at the interface to get an approximate solution. The method reduces the computational complexity from O(N~2) to O(N). The numerical results agree very well with results from the full atomistic model.
