【Abstract】 During the process of initiating the establishment of industry and planning the future development of Nantong in his time, Zhang Jian paid special attention to the harmony between man and nature. His ideas of an idyllic city with a circulating economy, pleasant surroundings and natural ecology can be seen in the aspects as follows: his city-alternating-with -country layout of Nantong, his arrangements of ecological trend of the industrial structure; his efforts in the optimization of citizens’ living environment as well as his hobby of afforestation, etc. After absorbing valuable pith from oriental and occidental ecological outlook, he formed his peculiar comparatively scientific connotation in this regard.更多还原
