【Abstract】 ZHANG Jian inherited the creams of our traditional culture stressing on human being’s peaceful co-existence with the nature and developed strong sense of ecology. In his practice of rescuing the country by developing industries and commerce,he made great contributions in many ways;he established a pattern of city alternating with country,built an ecology-friendly industrial structure,advocated tree-planting to protect and improve the environment.
