【Abstract】 Fecundity and host finding behavior in the stored-wheat of parasitoid Theocolax elegans(Westwood,1874)(=Choetospila elegans Westwood,1874),a predominant parasitoid for biological control of the major stored-product insect pest,rice weevil,Sitophilus oryzae(Linnaeus) were examined.Temperature and reproduction way had a significant effect on fecundity of those female wasps of parthenogenesis or amphigony,especially on the oviposition period,overall fecundity and offspring sex ratio.The present study demonstrated that T.elegans was able to find hosts located down to 30 cm vertically from the release point.更多还原
