CsI(T1)晶体量能器中硅光二极管的核计数器效应研究
Nuclear Counter Effect of Silicon Photodiode Used in CsI(Tl)Crystal Calorimeter
【摘要】 研究了由于电磁簇射在CsI(T1)晶体后端的泄漏而引起的硅光二极管“核计数器”效应.通过GEANT模拟和实验测量分析其在BESⅢ的CsI(T1)晶体量能器中对能量测量的影响.
【Abstract】 We investigated the nuclear counter effect of the silicon photodiode mounted on a CsI(Tl) crystal detector due to the leakage of electromagnetic shower through the rear end of the crystal.Using electron beams at IHEP,we have tested its effect on the energy measurement by the CsI(Tl) calorimeter for BESⅢexperiment.The results are found to be in good agreement with that of GEANT simulation and the effect for the BESⅢcalorimeter is negligible.
