【Abstract】 Context is the final factor determining the meaning of words and sentences. The context in which language is used in machine tool industry is different from the context in which language used in other applications because context varies from linguistic context to situational context. Similarly, the two-way translation in machine tool industry is thus governed by context. However, linguistic context and situational context do not always function in a coordinated way in determining meaning. In case of conflict between the contexts, we should take situational context of target language as a final determinant in the principle of feasibility and reality.更多还原
