【Abstract】 With respect to the launching of the forthcoming European Standard EN1993-1-1 for Steel Structures the new rules for beam-columns and the background of the developments are introduced in this paper.The new rules are mainly further for LT-buckling.The work is based on the cooperation within the Technical Committee 8 of the European Convention of Constructional Steelwork(ECCS) and leads to improved and partly more economical results in various areas of application.更多还原
