一种基于相对延时的TCP Vegas拥塞避免机制的改进算法
AN IMPROVEMENT ALGORITHM TO CONGESTION AVOIDANCE MECHANISM FOR TCP VEGAS BASED ON RELATIVE DELAY
【摘要】 TCP Vegas是一种TCP的实现,在Internet网上能达到令人满意的吞吐量,在通常情况下能较早地发现网络拥塞并成功的防止拥塞丢包。但是它有一个缺陷:当反向链路出现拥塞时,会导致TCP Vegas吞吐量的显著下降。使用“相对延迟”来改进TCPVegas的拥塞避免机制。当反向链路存在拥塞时,明显提高了TCP Vegas的吞吐量。
【Abstract】 TCP Vegas in an implementation of TCP that achieves a satisfactory throughput on the Internet.It can detect network congestion in the early stage and successfully prevents periodic packet loss that usually occurs in traditional schemes.However it has a defect:TCP Vegas connot prevent prominent throughput degradation when congestion occurs in the backward path.In this paper,we use ’relative delay’ to improve the congestion avoidance mechanism for TCP Vegas.It can improve the connection throughput obviously when the backward path is congested.
