【Abstract】 This paper proposes an elevator design system which is setup on the base of engineering database technology, adopting KBE to reuse and manage elevat or design knowledge, and combining technologies of feature modeling and parametr ic design based on assembly of Unigraphics CAD system and technology of product family modeling to create elevator case library.
