【Abstract】 It talks about the importance of Pro/E second developing technology for enterprises, and proposes the remarkable problems on 3D CAD software in the course of second development, such as the aims of developing system, the choose of developing vehicle and so on. With the application of Pro/E second developing technology in gear reducer’s modeling based on Pro/TOOLKIT, it futher explains the basic process, the source file’s writing, the making of executive file, and the key technology of regiser and function in the use of Pro/TOOLKIT second deve lopment.
