【Abstract】 Based on region-scanning, this paper proposes a new idea to detect the human face in a picture. It can lower the computing amount and increase the calculation speed. Based on the experiments with the ORL face image database and the MIT/CMU test set,we use the support vector machine (SVM) to make the system feature strong learining ability and improve its detection validity.更多还原
