【Abstract】 The theory of ecotourism industry cluster was proposed based on industry cluster principle,tourism ecology and tourism geography.It includes the concept,causes,characteristics and driving force of ecotourism industry cluster.The concept of ecotourism industry cluster was probed into based on the industry cluster and ecotourism.Ecotourism industry cluster refers to the whole of many tourism enterprises and organizations,which interrelate in a certain area,either in scenic spots or out of scenic spots.In order to accomplish the purpose of sustainable development of ecotourism industry,these enterprises and organizations can supply services which tourists need,including food,accommodation,tourist traffic,sightseeing,shopping and entertainment.The authors analyzed the development situation of tourism industry in western region of China.After that,the influence on competitiveness of tourism industry in western region of China was discussed by developing ecotourism industry cluster.Finally,from aspects of the government,industry organization and tourism enterprises,some countermeasures and constructive advice were put forward on how to develop ecotourism industry cluster in western region of China.更多还原
