【Abstract】 Social capital has become a hot concept and analyzing pattern in many disciplines since 1990. However, from the perspective of theoretical origin and evolution, the study on the relation between social capital and economic development can date from Max Weber’s analysis on the social and economic functions of religion. Since the theory of social capital sprang up, Francis Fukuyama, whose study focuses on the relation between trust and economic development, has become a representative in the field. Although so far the theory of social capital has been much criticized, and some different opinions about it still exist, the theory has become a new pattern of analyzing economic development.更多还原
