文化因素与翻译策略

【摘要】 文化因素是指某种语言或某个民族中特有的文化现象和表达方式,其种类繁多,翻译方法也多种多样。笔者认为,为了充分地尊重和传递原语的文化内涵和鲜明特色,丰富译入语表现形式,翻译中应尽量使用异化或直译法。同时,在必要情况下,也可采取文化对应和功能对应等意译方法,以达到交流和沟通的目的。更多还原

【Abstract】 Cultural factors refer to words and expressions that are unique and particular to a language and culture.There exist a large number of such words due to enormous differences in historical background,cultural heritage and natural environment between nations and languages.Problems can often arise in the translation of such culturally-specific words.This paper argues that literal translation or foreignization should be employed as much as possible in order to retain the cultural flavour of the original.However,it may be necessary sometimes to resort to other methods such as cultural equivalent and functional equivalent to better express the original ideas or avoid misunderstandings.更多还原
