牙膏胶黏剂单体AMPS的合成工艺
Synthesis of 2-Acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic Acid for Toothpaste Adhesive Monomer
【摘要】 2-丙烯酰胺基-2-甲基丙磺酸(简称AMPS)是优秀的功能高分子材料的单体,其均聚物作牙膏胶黏剂,尤其是加盐牙膏,分散性好,稳定性高。本文研究了AMPS的合成工艺,采用丙烯腈、异丁烯和发烟硫酸为原料,一步合成AMPS,考察了反应物的配比、三氧化硫的浓度、反应温度、反应时间等对产品收率的影响。实验结果表明:当丙烯腈∶异丁烯∶发烟硫酸=5∶1∶1(摩尔比),三氧化硫质量分数10%(质量),反应温度20℃,反应时间2 h,可得AMPS的收率为90%(质量),产品纯度99%(质量)左右。在最佳工艺条件下合成的AMPS产品为白色粉末,纯度99.1%(质量),熔点187℃,酸值270.7 mg KOH/g,Fe离子含量小于0.0003%(质量)。
【Abstract】 2-Acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid is an excellent monomer of functional polymer materials,whose homopolymers have good dispersibility and high stability as toothpaste adhesives,especially salt added toothpaste.The synthesis technology of AMPS is studied in this paper,acrylonitrile,isobutene and oleum are used as raw materials for synthesizing AMPS in one step,and the effects of ratio of the reactants,concentration of sulfur anhydride,reaction temperature and reaction time on the yield of the products are investigated.The results show that when acrylonitrile∶isobutene∶oleum is 5∶1∶1(molar ratio),concentration of sulfur anhydride is 10%(wt),reaction temperature is 20℃,reaction time is 2h,the yield of AMPS can reach 90%(wt),and the purity of AMPS is about 99%(wt).Under the optimal conditions,the product of AMPS prepared is white powder,and the purity is 99.1%(wt),the melting point is 187℃,the acid value is 270.7 mg KOH/g,and the content of iron ion is less than 0.0003%(wt).
