氧化镁活性与其微观结构的关系

【摘要】 用氢氧化镁脱水法制备出高活性氧化镁,确定氢氧化镁在400℃下保温1h可生成吸碘值为287.62mg/g的高活性氧化镁.利用吸碘值法、X射线衍射技术和扫描电镜技术考察了氧化镁的吸碘值、晶粒尺寸和表观形貌随温度的变化趋势以及氧化镁活性与其微观结构间的关系,表明氧化镁的微观结构对其活性有很大影响.晶粒细小,结构疏松,应变能大的氧化镁粉末具有较高的活性.

【Abstract】 The highly active magnesium oxide was prepared by dehydration of magnesium hydroxide made from magnesite. It was confirmed that the most active MgO, the value of iodine absorption of which was 287.62mg/g, can be obtained by calcining Mg(OH)2 at 400 ℃ for 1 h. Experiments were carried out to examine the relations between the calcination temperature and the value of iodine absorption, the particle size and the morphology by measuring the value of iodine absorption, XRD and SEM. It was confirmed that the microstructure has strong influence on the activity. MgO powders, with small particle size, loose structure and high strain energy, have high activity.
