【Abstract】 Recent development and progress in the research of the Baoban Group in western Hainan were systematically reviewed and summarized.The formation ages,stratigraphic sequence,rock association,protolith restoration and tectonic evolution of the Baoban group were introduced and discussed.It was considered that the Baoban group played an important role in the research of tectonic and lithosphere on Hainan Island.Some problems needed to be solved in the further research of the Baoban group were also proposed.更多还原
