【Abstract】 Vladimir Nabokov is a world-famous literary giant,whose best known novel,Lolita,aroused great controversy for depicting the abnormal love between a 37-year-old man and his 12-year-old adopted daughter.This novel makes light of the conventionally endorsed social value and moral standard.It has invented a world of love greatly detached from reality and presented a moving love story that doesn’t seem to have anything to do with morality.This paper tries to explore the origin of the tragic lot of the hero and heroine through a general analysis of their experience and their psyche.更多还原
