【Abstract】 Passive diffusion monitoring technique is widely used in environment air quality monitoring because its cost is low,and it can also be arranged freely,operated simply and mastered easily. The Environ -mental Protection Bureau of Liaoning Province introduced the technique through the Eu .The Panjine- xperiment unit shows that the monthly changing tendency of sulphur dioxide(SO2) and nitrogen dioxide(NO2) and the monitoring results of every functioning area coincide with the results obtained by the automatic monitoring station.This technique can make up the lack of experiment units of automatic monitoring.
