EVOH/蒙脱土插层复合材料的制备与结构表征

【摘要】 以有机化蒙脱土(MMT)为无机相,以乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物(EVOH)为基体树脂,通过熔融插层制备出了EVOH/蒙脱土复合材料。利用X射线衍射(XRD)、原子力显微镜(AFM)、示差扫描量热分析(DSC),分析了不同的MMT配比制备的EVOH/蒙脱土复合材料的结构。结果表明:EVOH/蒙脱土复合材料中蒙脱土片层间距的大小与MMT的含量有关,MMT的含量小于8%时,其含量越少,片层间距越大,此时形成的是剥离型纳米复合材料。MMT的含量在8%~15%时形成的是插层型纳米复合材料,而MMT的含量超过15%时,片层间距无明显变化。MMT的加入还会影响材料的玻璃化转变温度(Tg)、结晶温度(Tc)、晶型和熔融温度(Tm)。

【Abstract】 EVOH/organic-montmorillonite composite is prepared with treated montmonrillonite as mineral phase and ethylene-co-vinyl alcohol (EVOH) as matrix by melt intercalation. The microphase structure of EVOH/organic-montmorillonite composite is investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), atomic force microstropy (AFM). Results showed that the EVOH-matrix was intercalated into the layer of montmorillonite. When the organic-montmorillonite content was smaller than 8%, the exfoliated nanocomposite was obtained and the smaller the organic-montmorillonite content was, the bigger inter-layer distance becomes;when the MMT content was between 8% and 15%,the intercalated nanocomposite was formed; and no apparent changes appeared between the gallery layers when the organic-montmorillonite content exceeds 15%. The T_g, T_c, T_m and crystallity of nanocomposite were changed with the organic-montmorillonite content changes.
