【Abstract】 Small animal PET appears to be developed as a powerful tool for the animal model research. This paper provides a review of the development of small animal PET and the applications in glucose metabolism study in brain and heart, neuroreceptor imaging, oncology, reporter gene expression imaging and antisense imaging.
