添加剂对MH-Ni电池高温电化学性能的影响
Influences of an additive on the electrochemical properties of Ni-MH battery at high temperature
【摘要】 用恒电流充放电和循环伏安方法研究了含Ce和Y的混合添加剂对镍电极和MH-N i电池高温电化学性能的影响,循环后的N i(OH)2粉末经XRD测试为β型.恒电流充放电结果表明,在高温下含有添加剂的MH-N i电池的库仑效率明显高于不含添加剂的MH-N i电池.镍电极的循环伏安实验表明,在高温条件下,在阳极区内不含添加剂的镍电极的N i(OH)2氧化峰与析氧峰重叠在一起,而含有添加剂的镍电极上N i(OH)2的氧化峰和析氧峰峰值电压差明显增加,镍电极和MH-N i电池在高温下的充放电性能明显提高.
【Abstract】 The effect of a mixed additive with Ce and Y elements on the electrochemical properties of(Ni(OH)2) electrode and Ni-MH battery at high temperature has been investigated using the constant current charge/discharge and cyclic voltammogram(CV) measurements.The results of Xray diffraction showed that the active material after cycling is β-Ni(OH)2.The experiment results showed that the mixed additive could improve the coulomb efficiency of NiMH battery at high temperature.And the additive markedly decreased the oxide potential of Ni(OH)2 electrode and increased the potential difference between the oxygen evolution reaction and the oxidation of Ni(OH)2 electrode at high temperature.And the discharge capacities of the battery with mixed additive are significantly improved at high temperature.
