【Abstract】 This paper summarizes the principal fruits of the study on the linguistic theories in each period from traditional linguistics to contemporary linguistics,which is analyzed as the background of the birth of postmodern linguistics.The paper especially discusses the research characteristics and new theories of corpus linguistics that is the symbol of postmodern linguistics.The conclusion of the paper proposes that the period of postmodern linguistics would have its beginning now.更多还原
