【Abstract】 In Mark Twain’ s novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, there is a white boy Huckleberry who helps the black slave Jim to get rid of misery life. He is so outright, kind-hearted, pure, clever and lovely that showed big difference with the rigid and cruel society. The novel shows the violent conflict between the traditional concept of racial discrimination & slavery system and Huckleberry’ s outright and kind characteristics, in which Huckleberry grows up and becomes mature.
