【Abstract】 In this paper, the main causes of drinking water pollution are analyzed from the aspects of technology and management. The main causes are as follows; corrosion and scale inside water pipes, leakage of corrosion-preventing materials inside water pipes, rebirth of the microbes at the end of the distribution system, improper design of storage reservoir and poor management of the system.
