The Effect of TLRs in Allergig Inflannation Reaction
【Abstract】 Hygiene hypothesis is the idea that exposure to specific infection drives the Th in infancy/childhood maturing towards a Th1 phenotype, and away from the Th2 phenotype associated with atopy. Allergy and infection must have some association, although it still provokes much debate. Toll like receptors(TLRs) are important pattern recognition molecules for human body to recognize pathogenic microorganism. In recent years,it was found that TLR signaling can modulate allergic inflammatory disease by inducing Th1 and/or Th2 phenotype cytokines. In this article the key roles of TLR and some related molecules participating in allergic reaction were reviewed.
