【Abstract】 The paper reviews the tortuous but bright process of Mr. Fei Hsiao-Tung’s ethnic study and his profound and in-depth academic ideology, recalls his human emotion of worrying about the future of his nation and people as well as the determination of contributing to his motherland, and cherishes the memory of his spirit of taking responsibility, caring for people, aiming at improving people’s living, and keeping consistence between thinking and action, as well as that of his ideal of inheriting the essence of ancestors and creating a peaceful world.
