一种全光逻辑或非门的理论和实验研究
Experimental and Theoretical Investigation on All-Optical Logic NOR Gates
【摘要】 基于单端半导体光放大器(SOA)中的交叉增益调制(XGM)效应实现了全光逻辑或非运算功能,建立了该方案的理论模型,进行了数值模拟。实验中实现了10 Gb/s的全光逻辑或非运算功能,并对理论模拟和实验结果进行了讨论和分析,指出了输出消光比与连续光功率及注入电流之间的关系。理论分析结果与实验结果相符合。
【Abstract】 A novel scheme based on cross-gain modulation in singleport semiconductor optical amplifier(SOA)is investiga- ted theoretically and experimentally.Theoretical model for the single port SOA is established for theoretical simulation and performance evaluation.The 10 Gb/s all-optical logic NOR operation has been demonstrated theoretically and experimental- ly.Theoretical calculation results are discussed and are in agreement with the experimental results.
