【Abstract】 Left ventricular remodeling is one of the major causes that results in heart failure after myocardial infarction. The therapeutic interventions that can slow or reverse the process are advisable. The mechanism of ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction and the clinical experiences showed that thoracic epidural block was beneficial for cardiac angina, myocardial infarction, myocardiopathy or heart failure, and suggested that thoracic epidural block could prevent ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction. Thoracic epidural block may therefore be a safe, economical and useful therapeutic strategy, besides medication or interventional therapy.更多还原
