用于DWDM的一类光子晶体滤波器
A Kind of Photonic Crystal Narrow Filter Used in DWDM
【摘要】 用转移矩阵法模拟计算了通过2组不同禁带的光子晶体级联构成的窄带滤波器的光学特性,设计了信道间隔为0.80 nm和0.08 nm的密集波分复用(DWDM)光子晶体滤波器。模拟结果表明,这种滤波器的透射特性几乎不受滤波器两边折射率的影响,既可生长在光纤的一端,也可植入光纤内部,还可直接在空气环境中使用,使滤波系统简单、轻便。
【Abstract】 By means of transfer matrix method,we calculated the optical properties of photonic crystal narrow band filters,which are made of two sets of photonic crystals with different photonic band gaps.A set of filters at 1 500 nm with a channel interval of 0.80 nm and 0.08 nm for dense wavelength division multiplexing(DWDM) has been also designed.The results of simulation indicates that the transmission properties of this kind of filter can hardly be influenced by the reflective indexes of both sides of it.It can grow at one end of the optical fiber,or be planted within the optical fiber,or be used in air directly,which makes the system more simple and portable.
